Markets
Markets are one of my most favourite places to visit, there are so many treasures one can find at them. From food, sweets, clothes, jewellery, decorative pieces and so much more. You can find traders from so many different places here. I found a lovely Italian olive stall, all the olives were fresh from Italy and were absolutely delicious. I ended up buying a whole box! Another beautiful stall that I loved was a Indian themed one, the owners of the stall had travelled to India and had bought everything from there. They had lots of beautiful bits and bobs, from diarys, jewellery boxes, bags and much more. This was one of my most favourite stalls.
I love the diversity you find at markets and love the open yet warm atmosphere that is created at them.
Do you guys like visiting markets?
I wish we had more markets like that around here. Ours are very small in comparison to others.

Lovely photos! I love visiting markets wherever I am. It's a bummer that there are not many cute markets around here in LA area.
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the market! I wish we had a bit more markets from where I live but the weather we have year around wouldn't suit it. In the summer time, we usually have markets pop up and disappear when the season is over but our markets aren't like the ones most people are used to.

ReplyDeleteI live in Indiana so we only have farmers markets. I wish we had olives like that.
I love markets, especially in foreign countries! I have lived in India for almost half a year and I loved strolling around and looking at the bangles and jewellery and interesting looking objects. Also I did an internship in Chile, and I remember buying exotic vegetables with a friend and experimenting with cooking something we never had seen before haha :)
